The Kansas City Chiefs are set to have another pre-draft visit soon. The 2024 NFL Draft kicks off very soon, and the Chiefs are getting all of their ducks in a row—getting some last-minute visits out of the way very soon. They have several needs to address in this draft, and looking at their pre-draft visits is a good way to get a better feel of what the team is looking for.
In the Chiefs' case, they need offensive tackle, guard depth, defensive tackle depth, edge depth, linebacker depth, wide receiver depth, and you can even throw tight end depth on the list, too. If you notice, most of their needs are depth issues.
Their latest pre-draft visit happens to play the same position as their best player at that position, whom they just traded away. According to Aaron Wilson of KCPR 2, the Chiefs have a pre-draft visit with Florida State cornerback Jarrian Jones. Here is everything you need to know about Jones and his strengths and weaknesses:
Florida State @FSUFootball corner Jarrian Jones (6-0, 190, 4.38 speed, 39.5 vertical, 10-9 broad jump, three picks, one touchdown last season) visiting #Eagles today, per source, has visited #Dolphins #Colts #Packers did #Jaguars local day, Zooms with #Chiefs #Chargers @KPRC2

WEAKNESSES
Jones is the 179th-ranked prospect on our big board, the 26th-ranked cornerback, and is projected to be a fifth-round pick. The Chiefs have made some great cornerback picks on day three, including L'Jarius Sneed. Jones would be an overlooked guy but could make for a great show in training camp.
